Major Catch-Up

We went to Arkansas at the end of September to see my Grandparents and Aunt Kathy. Evelyn loved feeding and playing with her Great Grandpa.
This is Rachel, Aunt Kathy's dog. Evelyn can be seen kissing Molly every single day, but she even warmed up to Rachel after 5 minutes! She loves dogs so much, even if we go down the dog aisle at the store she sees all the pictures of dogs on the bags and points and says "yeah, yeah!"
Evelyn loves to be outside and regularly brings us our shoes and then points to the door. This time she brought Dad's shoes to him and when he didn't put them on she decided to try them out!
These pictures are from Labor Day in Keystone. Yummy chocolate covered marshmallow from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
This is where she always wants to be when we have the stroller with us, pushing it - backwards?
Excited to see the ducks and huge fish in the water.
In the same week Evelyn and I got to go to Elitches and Water World...we are spoiled! This is on the ferris wheel. Evelyn stared at all the lights the whole time.
On on of the kiddie rides with Grandpa. She loved it!!
Beach babe. In the afternoon at Water World she grabbed a book and climbed onto this little ground-level beach chair.
She got a lot of attention from anyone and everyone who saw her and just hammed it up smiling and clapping. Yes she kept her sunglasses on all day!
This is at my awesome friend Jenny's reception at The Point while we were in Utah at the beginning of August. This is a cool family reflection pic looking out over SLC.
Out of order. This is in the JS Memorial Building after the wedding, Evelyn was getting a ton of attention to her right as you can tell from all of my college friends. None of them have kids yet so she's quite the cute little anomaly.
The day after her birthday at Bear Lake playing in the water with Grandpa.
Kissing (licking?) the new doll she got for her birthday from my parents.
Birthday afternoon - emptying the kleenex boxes that were presents :) See her two little sweet teeth?
Tired cake face/sugar crash. She really dug in after awhile as you can see.
Big birthday cake, little Evelyn :) I found this awesome mold and had fun decorating her giant cupcake.
On the merry-go-round at the zoo with Daddy. This was her first time on one and she loved it so much that I had to take her again. She would hold the bar and bounce and when she would see me as she went around waving at her she would laugh so hard! It was adorable and such a fun birthday experience.
Toilet paper was also a cheap favorite present. Although she also enjoyed eating it of course.
Holy cow I love this picture. Too bad it got stuck at the end. So this was Evelyn's first time seeing any animals other than birds, dogs, cats ya know. So when we first got to the zoo we saw the elephants first and this was her reaction. It's like the biggest what-the-heck face ever and I can't get enough of it! What makes it even better is that not only do you get Dad's reaction, but also Grandma Tingey's in the very back! So so precious and funny. The lighting cooperated quite well also. Aren't we lucky to live in digital camera age where we can literally take thousands of pictures of our kids just in their first year of life? I know we have done so and they are all priceless.
